While it is active, you do not take damage from enemy attacks. Barrndawg has pointed out that the Stasis Hollow is also very useful in The Crucible. I personally used an undying shard before entering the arena, then popped a havoc shard during the Wicked K fight. Undying shards are particularly useful so that you don’t die unexpectedly.

Consumable shards do not impact your progress for trophies at all, so feel free to use one every time the cool down is finished. Unlike some hack and slash games, enemies off-screen will not hesitate to beat you up. On the flipside, be careful jumping up to raised platforms, as enemies can hit you midair.Ĭombat awareness. Whenever there’s a wave with a raised platform, it’s a good idea to jump up there and lure enemies to you. In order to do so, you must be progressed in the main story all the way until defeating Wrath for the second time in the Lowlands. It is worth noting that you cannot immediately access all 100 waves. From here, you’ll meet Targon and he’ll explain how the arena works. This location is on the far left, and is called Limbo. Talk to Vulgrim and he will mention the new location you can travel to using Serpent Holes. In order to access the DLC, you must have defeated at least one sin in the main campaign. All trophies can be earned on the easiest difficulty and none are missable, making this DLC a quick completion for Darksiders III veterans. Your progress from the main game carries over to The Crucible, so it is recommended to tackle this DLC when you are near the end of the game.

These new tokens can be used to purchase weapon upgrade materials and new items such as Hollow upgrades and armor sets.
